Here are answers to some common questions by our clients. 

  • Will my private medical insurance cover Reflexology or Massage?

    This will depend on the insurance company. Many private health insurance providers do cover Reflexology or Sports Massage, it is recommended you check with your policy for details first. 

  • Can my child have a massage?

    If the massage is for a child under 16 a parent or guardian has to be present throughout the massage session. 

  • What are the payment options?

    You can pay by VISA debit cards or cash at the venue, if you are booking direct through Treatwell you pay online. 

  • Do you sell vouchers?

    Yes, vouchers are available to purchase directly from me at the venue or can be posted out a small charge will be added to cover postage. Please note Gift vouchers are not cash refundable and are valid for 3 months from date of purchase.

  • For a massage do I have to remove any clothing?

    Yes, for body massage it is normal undress to your underwear, for Indian Head Massage, reiki no clothing needs to be removed, for Reflexology only your socks are required to be removed. 

  • What happens on my first visit?

    For your first session you are asked to fill in a consultation form, this will identify any contraindications you might have to the treatment, thus ensuring that you will then receive a safe treatment. 

  • What if the pressure is too hard?

    You are in control of the pressure, but during the massage you will be asked and pressure can be adjusted for your comfort.

  • Can I discuss the therapies before my visit?

    Yes of course I will be happy to discuss the therapies that might be more beneficial for you. Please note at busy times I may be unavailable straight away, but as soon as I am free, I will be able to return your call or email.
